Every year since then, we have come together on Christmas day; collecting food stuff, clothes and other relief materials from individuals willing to help. We have lunch with the residents of Makoko and give out whatever we are able to collect. Without any major sponsors, we have successfully held this event every year for four years now. This will be our fifth year running.
How it works:
- Before Christmas day: If you would love to volunteer with us there will be no need to send in your donations before Christmas day but for those who cannot make it, you can make arrangements for your donations to be picked up. Clothes for adults and children, toys, shoes, books, foodstuff and whatever you are able to give us. You can also make monetary donations to us. Please click on the link and follow the easy steps:

- On Christmas day: If you are interested in coming out with us, all the volunteers going to Makoko with us convene at Ozone cinemas in Yaba. Please bring all your donations with you when coming in the morning.
- There will be buses available to pick us from Yaba, to and from Makoko.
- Please get there by 10am. The bus leaves at 11am sharp.
- Dress code: blue jeans and white tees.
- We will be checking blood pressure and sugar levels. If you will like to be a part of our medical team, please send us an email.
